Accessibility Statement
Effective date: March 15, 2026
Locentry is committed to providing a website that is accessible to the broadest practical audience, including people who use assistive technologies and people with disabilities.
Our approach
We aim to make Locentry reasonably accessible and usable across modern browsers, devices, and assistive technologies. We use recognized accessibility practices and work toward conformance with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 Level AA where practical for the site's features and content.
Scope
This statement applies to the public Locentry website, including listing pages, category pages, state and city pages, search, account related pages, contact forms, submission forms, and related public content.
Ongoing efforts
We are working to improve accessibility across the site by focusing on:
- keyboard navigation,
- visible focus indicators,
- semantic headings and landmarks,
- form labels and error handling,
- color contrast,
- screen reader compatibility,
- responsive layout and zoom support,
- accessible cookie and privacy preference controls.
Known limitations
Because Locentry includes imported business listings, user submitted material, and ongoing development updates, some areas may not yet be fully optimized for accessibility at all times. We are continuing to review templates, components, and content.
Third party content
Some features or embedded tools may rely on third party services. We encourage those providers to support accessibility, but we may not control every part of their implementation.
Feedback
If you encounter an accessibility barrier on Locentry, please contact us and include:
- the page URL,
- the feature or content involved,
- the device and browser used,
- any assistive technology used,
- a brief description of the issue.
We will review reports in good faith and work to address confirmed issues within a reasonable time.
Continuous improvement
Accessibility is an ongoing process. We review new templates, features, and content updates with accessibility in mind and aim to improve the experience over time.
