Privacy Rights

This page explains how eligible users can make privacy related requests to Locentry.
Available request types
Depending on your jurisdiction and the laws that apply, you may request one or more of the following:
- access to personal information we hold about you,
- deletion of personal information,
- correction of inaccurate personal information,
- a portable copy of certain personal information,
- opt out of sale or sharing,
- opt out of targeted advertising,
- appeal of a denied request,
- limit certain uses of sensitive personal information, where applicable.
How to submit a request
Submit your request through one of the following methods:

Information we may need
To protect your information, we may need to verify your identity before processing your request. We may ask for:
- your name,
- your email address,
- a description of your relationship to Locentry,
- enough information to identify the account, message, or listing connection involved,
- proof that an authorized agent may act on your behalf.
Response timing
We aim to respond within the time required by applicable law. If more time is needed, we may notify you as allowed by law.
Appeals
If we deny your request and applicable law grants an appeal right, you may appeal by replying to the denial notice or submitting a new request marked Privacy Appeal.
Do Not Sell or Share / targeted advertising opt out
If applicable law grants you the right to opt out of sale, sharing, or targeted advertising, you may use:
- the privacy request form on this page,
- the cookie preferences center,
- a recognized browser based privacy signal where required.
Public directory data
Locentry is a public directory. Some information in published listings may come from public sources, direct submissions, or editorial review. Privacy rights requests do not automatically require Locentry to remove accurate public facts where an exception applies or where publication is otherwise lawful.
